 SARDINES AND MANGO TOAST



Pandemic food does not mean lousy food. A trip to the supermarket can result in some cheap produce too. This is one of those dishes. Mangoes can be gotten for a ringgit a kilogram at the supermarkets. Since I love mangoes, I bought a few..... Quite a few, actually๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ So since I had so many and some sardines in my cupboard, this is what I made.......





Ingredients 

A can of sardines 

Some spring onions, finely cut 

Some corriander leaves, chopped 

Some mango, chopped 

Some chilli, chopped 

An orange, cut to small pieces 

Some sliced baguette 

Butter 


Method 


Debone the sardines, break it up and mix it with all the ingredients except the bread and butter. If it looks a little dry u can add some of the olive oil that the sardines came in 



Butter up the bread and toast it at 150°C for 5-7mins




When that's done, put the sardine mixture on the bread and it's ready to serve!





A simple yet tasty breakfast for me! Healthy too!Also good for serving when unexpected guests show up! Even those who can't cook can surely do this! Try it!
