SANG HAR MEE

SANG HAR MEE

Move over soo kee, soo kee's son, daughter, dog, etc! This is one easy yet super tasty recipe that will turn you from a mediocure cook to a tai chow superstar! It's pretty depressing to see how many families come to me asking for aid, so I need something to refresh my spirit and what better way to do that than to eat good food! Love sang har mee but can't go to your fav stall? heres how to make it!

Ingredients

5 big prawns

5 slices of ginger

5 cloves of garlic, minced

1.5 portion wan tan mee

4 tablespoons chinese rice wine

2 teaspoon light soy sauce

1 tablespoon chicken stock

1 tablespoon corn starch

2 cups water

some spring onions

Method

Cut the politician, opps, prawns into half to expose the brains and such..... That's flavour right there, unlike the shit in politician's brains :-p

In a hot wok with some oil, put the wan tan mee , fry it till it's slightly charred and put it in the serving plate

Now in a hot wok with some oil, sautee the ginger and garlic till aromatic

Add the prawns and rice wine. At this point the wok might catch fire but don't call the fire brigade, it's just the alcohol in the wine burning off

Now's the time to add the water, chicken stock and soy sauce and do a taste test

Mix the corn starch with water, turn off the flame

Now add the egg and stir till everything thickens

Pour it over the mee, garnish it with spring onions

Now you'be got a plate of sang har mee to drool over!

That was my breakfast, but it could be your lunch or dinner too! Try it! you can't go wrong!

Enjoy, everyone, enjoy and stay safe!
