 DINNER FROM SCRATCH IN 30mins!



Who would've thought that a dinner so satisfying could be served in 30mins from scratch?! It's rediculious, right? But trust me, this is good. Really good! Steamed eggs and steamed minced pork with basmati rice. And some crispy pork fat with dark soy sauce and chilli padi, the meal is transformed from something simple to something divine! When I prepare the crispy pork lard and fried onions, I prepare enough for the whole week. I hardly use any cooking oil to cook as I use the oil rendered from the fat to cook..... Tastes really good too! The following are what u need to make this deceptively simple yet tasty meal!


Wash and cook the rice........


Steamed minced pork ingredients

200g minced pork

1 teaspoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon sesame seed oil

1 teaspoon light soy sauce

1 tablespoon water

1 teaspoon corn flour

2 teaspoons salted radish, washed

A dash of pepper

Finely chopped spring onions


Method

Mix everything thoroughly, put it on a dish and steam it for 15mins. Garnish with spring onions


Steamed eggs

2 eggs

Half a cup of water

1 teaspoon chicken stock

2 teaspoons light soy sauce

Some finely chopped spring onions and fried shallots

Method

Beat everything up in a bowl and steam it together with the minced pork. 15 mins is enough for both to be cooked

Such a simple meal yet it was unbelievably tasty. Really cheap too! Seriously, there's no excuse not to cook at home with a meal like this! Enjoy, everyone, and stay safe!
